Comment: I am a bit too young to remember Diana being on our TV screens but i can vividly remember her on The Two Ronnies and remember thinking what a wonderful warm person she seemed. Since then i've watched numerous programmes on her life and think she seemed like an amazingly talented and hard working person with a good heart and real beauty.

Comment: I've been planning to visit this site for years and finally have got round to it! I was born in 1943 so by the time I was 10 Diana was a household name. I didn't get to see many films since they were A or X rated. But I did get to see Alligator and Farthing (on TV today) and, once old enough, all the other movies she made late 50s/early 60s. It was good to see her really on form and enjoying herself in the Two Ronnies serial, as well as fronting a few pop videos in the 80s. Like Eagle comic and Ealing Comedies, thoughts of Diana take me immediately back to my schooldays and the innocence of a long last age.

Comment: Great site. I am particulary intertested in any info on Dennis Hamilton, his life etc. He was 1st cousin t my late father, and their Mothers were twin sisters. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I know he was was a scoundrel, but not alot more

Comment: Great site for a great lady. I was priveleged to appear on stage as a band member with Diana in October 1953 (24 times over three weeks) at the Coventry Hippodrome. Even had a piece of her birthday cake. Lovely lady, pity she got caught up with Denis, saw his temper on one occasion. Have always been a fan, even before then. Still am. Comment: After reading an article about Diana's car sale for almost $6 million. I was reminded of who she was and looked for some photos for a trip down memory lane. I left England in 1980 for the US. I have memory of my parents enjoying Diana Dors...I was just a kid but I remember she was funny!

One day on opening the door at the 'Acton Hilton' rehearsal studios, I was faced with Diana Dors. She was older, yes, but still a big star and very glamorous. I was born in Battersea, London, SW11 in 1926 and was a soldier and London Policeman, before emigrating to the US in 1960. As a young man I remember Diana so well, she was a smasher, as we used to say, she died so young as she foretold, may she rest in peace.

I also visited shrubbs hill lane and spoke at length with one of diana's neighbours lovely man with many fond memories of the Lake family the house is behind very tall black gates and is occupied looks very private ,ive been to beverly hills and its not a patch on sunningdale really glad i made the effort to visit englands rose RIP to you both x

Comment: I was only 14 when Diana died and always loved her and still do, I have her autograph and picture on my wall always loved her sense of humour and of course her talent. A true star I was so sad when she died but the way she battled the disease was amazing and an inspiration. Always preferred her in the later years she really blossomed with age. We miss you Dors!!!

Comment: Whilst reading news reports of Richard Dawson's death I learned he was once married to Diana Dors and I wanted to learn more about her. This is a lovely site and she was a beautiful actress.

Comment: I was very fortunate to see Diana Dors perform her Cabaret show at Harpoon Louie's in Early 82 and later to receive several standing ovations from her and Alan when I performed at La vie en Rose in 83. Both of them were truly gracious and we would always get to chat after the show .Even now sadly missed. There was a rumour that both Diana and Noele Gordon were to appear as Blanche and Jane Hudson in a stage version of Whatever happened to Baby Jane but unfortunately Diana passed away before it could come to fruition. Diana must have been in her late forties or maybe around fifty years of age. Comment: Lovely photos. Though I found it quite hard to look at without having a sense of sadness. You see, my sister is a spitting image- I mean absolute image of Diana Dors- from her eyes(exact shape/expression)to her nose, lips, body. And hair. Why am I sad... Because my sister who suffered a sad life of pain is an alcoholic who has never met anyone who loved her. She is so very beautiful, but she hates herself. Years alone. Years alcohol dependant when she too could of been someone. Instead no one sees her beauty for she hides away and by God if I didn't know better, I'd of thought these photos were of her and not the late, great Diana Dors.

My English teacher made us watch 'A Taste of Honey' back in 1972 it was on B&W cine film in the school library, a rare treat. Having known the Fluck family very well, there is no doubt in my mind whatsoever that Diana was indeed a Fluck, sharing unmistakable family resemblance to her paternal family. Comment: I was born in Dec 1977 & was disturbingly allowed to stay up late to watch programmes like Tales of the Unexpected/The Twilight Zone/Tales from the Crypt etc as a young child. I became obsessed & fascinated by Diana Dors after seeing her in Hammer House of Horrors & obviously the iconic music video Prince Charming. Diana's death was a devastating loss to Showbiz. I have never been wrong with my instant judgements of character in my 40 years on this planet & I can tell Diana was a beautiful soul.
